The JF Faber Aerospace team has been extremely successful securing a multi million pound contract with Airbus for the supply of a main wing assembly jig and associated operational tooling to support the increased build rate of the A330 long range aircraft.
The work includes, the strip down of an existing assembly jig, modification, improvements and rebuild to accommodate the new aircraft wing assembly.
JF Faber are the prime contractors and will engage their in-house design and project management teams along with a number of their approved manufacturing partners within the UK and overseas to undertake this production critical project.
The contract was awarded against strong competition from both UK and European companies.
